Texas Rangers go undercover in a mining town to investigate the continued hijacking of wagons bringing food and supplies to the miners. They discover a plot by the leader of a local gang to drive the miners out of the area and take over the claims to their mines. Complications ensue when a local official is murdered by the gang and one of the undercover Rangers finds himself blamed for the crime.
