DESCRIPTION:

Arizona Trails (1935, B&W): Teenager Henry Randolph has gotten into debt and is being blackmailed by crooked gambler Slade. The sheriff overhears Henry threaten to kill Slade, and when the gambler is found murdered, the boy is arrested. Hard-boiled cowhand Bob Bronson refuses to believe that Henry is guilty. Strapping on his guns, he sets out to bring back the real killer before Henry's date with the hangman's noose.

Director Victor Adamson's (aka Al James and Denver Dixon) Arizona Trails is loaded with wonderful on-location photography and features Adamson himself playing the role of Shorty. Australian native Adamson was a busy director and actor in the silent era, often starring as "Art Mix." His son was reknowned low-budget exploitation director Al Adamson.
