As the expedition is led by an oil company pilot (Pierre Brice) who puts together a suspicious bunch to help him in his search for a fellow colleague . As the couple joins forces with a motley group (Harald Juhnke , Hans von Borsody , Gil Delamare) whose true objective is to find the ¨Golden Goddess of Rio Beni¨ , a golden sculpture adored and strongly protected by the natives . The bunch is formed by a misfit team as a drunk , a pair of villains , a boat captain and a woman (Emma Penella) . All of them delve into the Amazonian rainforest in search of the pilot . They suffer 10000 dangers , being harassed , attacked and abducted by aboriginal tribes on the edge of the rain forest , and confronting each other .
