Henry Fonda, Zachary Scott, Larry Crane, Lou Krugman, Harry Bartell
Directed by Reginald Le Borg
Print: Black and White
Runtime: 30min
Genre: Drama
Language: English
Zachary Scott was never a huge Hollywood star but he was very capable and played wonderful cads as well as heroes. Here, however, he's both miscast and the script is weak--too weak to make this one worth seeing.
Scott plays Carlos, a famous aging bullfighter who's lost his edge. As a publicity stunt, he's returned to his old home town where he'll appear in the ring with his brother--an up and coming matador. What follows is pretty dumb and unconvincing.
Zachary Scott plays a Hispanic bullfighter and the story is badly written. Need I say much more?! The bottom line is that the show is never convincing and ends very poorly. Not quite terrible...but close!
