DESCRIPTION:

While unscrupulous con artist Rick Maxon (John Payne) was talking war widow Deborah Owens Clark (Joan Caulfield) into raising money to construct a memorial in her husband's honor, he, of course, intended to bilk her for every penny. That was until he fell in love with her.
