This version contains only the first two stories, which are decent and help set the mood for the third, which is usually cited as the best segment. The second, Cask of Amontillado, has a touch of bawdiness, with the attractive, well-endowed, cheating wife wearing low-cut gowns and rolling in the hay with her lover, and a brief, shock shot where her husband (Ibanez Menta) pulls her corpse up out of a vat of wine, her wet gown clinging to her bare bosom. Tame for today, but a bit risqué for 1960, and an image of the scene was used on the gaudy threatrical poster.
