Norman Wisdom's immense popularity stems from his hilarious portrayal of the little guy who always seems to win out in the end. The cloth-capped bumbler is one of the great creations of British Comedy. Trouble In Store: Norman s (Norman Wisdom) aim in life is to become a window dresser for a department store. But between all his hirings and firings he is more often than not outside looking in. One day he helps an old lady leave the shop with a large suitcase, only to be told later that the woman is a notorious shoplifter who has successfully walked off with large amounts of their stock.
