DESCRIPTION:
When an old soldier she met during the war leaves her his ranch in Texas, British heiress Alison Kirbe (Deborah Kerr) sets sail for America to claim her 50,000 acres of land. Also along for the crossing are a con man (Robert Walker), a wolf (Peter Lawford) and a no-nonsense lawyer (Mark Stevens), three bachelors who compete for her hand. Deciding to spend a few days in New York, Alison is wined and dined by the amorous trio, each unaware that her property's a wasteland and worth less than a cent.
