'I Never Sleep' (also called 'Sleepless') is the story of Nadia Lotfi (Faten Hamama), a teenage girl raised by her father after her mother's untimely death. Her lifelong lack of a mother figure turns Nadia into a scheming troublemaker who causes problems at her boarding school.
