In 12th century England, the legendary Sir Lancelot du Lac battles injustice, greed, and prejudice while serving King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table. Nothing will stand in the way of Camelot's most charismatic hero as he and Squire Brian brave catapults and conspirators in this rousing adventure series, which ran from 1955 to 1957.
Caledon: Lancelot encounters the noble steed Caledon, mightiest warhorse in all of Britain.
Shepherd's War: A band of murderous knights terrorize a shepherd village.
Sir Bliant: Merlin's magic spell makes Lancelot appear to be the aging nobleman, Sir Bliant. The counterfeit "Sir Bliant" teaches his brutal, lawless sons some manners.
The Knight with the Red Plume: Lancelot must fight Sir Kay to the death in order to become a knight of King Arthur's Round Table.
Raiding the tales of Arthurian lore, this British show follows the stirring adventures of dashing Sir Lancelot (William Russell) and the Knights of the Round Table. Queen Guinevere (Jane Hylton), King Arthur (Ronald Leigh-Hunt), and Merlin (Cyril Smith) are among the supporting cast in this 1950s series that later aired for a successful run on American television (a rarity at the time). This second volume presents four more episodes: "Caledon," "Shepherd's War," "Sir Bliant," and "The Knight with the Red Plume."
