DESCRIPTION:

The law says that the local cattlemen's herds, stricken with hoof and mouth disease, must be quarantined. But for the cattlemen, getting their beef to market is a matter of economic life or death, so they defy the sheriff -- and even plan to tar and feather him.

Banker Cylus Cuttler is the two-legged rattlesnake behind it all: He's made high-interest loans to the ranchers, secretly prevented them from getting government funds to tide them over, and looks forward to mass foreclosures that will make him cattle king of Arizona. But Sheriff Tex Rockett soon smells a rat and begins to gather evidence against the troublemakers.

Tex Ritter's illustrious career as a singing cowboy actor earned him legendary status as a western screen star in the 1920s and 1930s and later as a popular recording artist best remembered for the iconic title theme to High Noon. Tex's strong supporting cast in this Monogram production includes Glenn Strange and Dave O'Brien.

BONUS: Includes chapter one of The Miracle Rider with Tom Mix.
