DESCRIPTION:

This action-packed 1936 adaptation of James Fenimore Cooper's classic adventure novel is set in 1757 at the siege of Fort William Henry during the French and Indian War. Randolph Scott stars as Hawkeye, a colonial frontier scout who becomes a reluctant hero when he is assigned to escort the fort commander's two daughters safely through hostile Indian territory.
