DESCRIPTION:

Having come to postwar Berlin to visit her army officer brother, British teacher Susanne Mallison (Claire Bloom) couldn't help but be romantically intrigued by her new sister-in-law's local acquaintance, attorney Ivo Kern (James Mason).
