A band of Klan-like night riders have been running rampant, and ranch
owner Julian Marbolt (Andre Beaulieu) -- who is afflicted with day
blindness and can only see in the evening -- offers a reward for the
leader's capture. John Tresler, an Easterner just out of college (Albert
Ray) arrives on the ranch in search of a job. He's hired and a romance
blooms between him and Marbolt's daughter Diana (Maude Dunham). The
foreman, who has a hankering for Diana himself, resents this and makes
things difficult for Tresler. To put a halt to the night riders' activities
Tresler finally calls in the Royal Mounted Police and eventually they
capture the scoundrels. Their leader, it turns out, is Marbolt himself.
Tresler has been wounded in the fracas, but Diana lovingly nurses him
back to health.
