While searching for a gold mine, Harold Lounsbury is lost in the wilderness. A year later, he is seen near Yuba, California and his fianc?, Virginia Tremont, joins an expedition to search for him. She is thrown off her horse crossing a river, and the party's guide, Bill Bronson leaps in the river to save her. The savage current sweeps them far downstream and they are left stranded in a remote cabin. Surrounded by three foot snow drifts and arctic blasts, the odd couple are faced with a desperate struggle to survive.

Forgotten today, Roy Stewart was a well-known cowboy star in the heyday of silent westerns. He turned in admirable dramatic performances as well, co-starring with Lillian Gish, Bessie Love and Mary Pickford. He is best remembered for The Blindness (1916), Cactus Crandall (1918), Sparrows (1926) and Fighting Caravans (1931). Starring Roy Stewart, Jane Novak, Lloyd Whitlock, Spotiswoode Aitken and Herbert Prior. Directed by Chester Bennet.
