Covering every major engagement from D-Day to the fall of Berlin, this auspicious production (widely regarded as one of the greatest war documentaries ever made) features an introduction by General Dwight D. Eisenhower, who approved the film prior to its release.
This special 2-disc collector’s edition also includes the original alternative ending to The True Glory (covering the progress of the war up to VJ Day) as well as four full-length British wartime documentaries produced for the Ministry of Information.
