DESCRIPTION:
Secretary Rae Lane is hopelessly in love with her boss Robert Lawton, who doesn't notice her. His doctor advises that he take a month's respite at a nudist camp, and on arrival he is surprised to see Rae and her absolutely stunning body. Their friendship deepens through summer days of naked swimming, archery and volleyball and the two are soon inseparable.
The Unashamed features au natural scenes actually filmed at the Olympic Fields nudist colony, where all of the members appear to be extremely attractive well-endowed ladies and athletic young men. This film delivers fine explicit photography of beautiful naked human bodies in a rustic Eden. Containing serious adult themes, it stands in sharp contrast to the many nudist exploitation productions which extol sun worship as a cure for all of society's ills.
This independently-produced exploitationer is set in a nudist colony, populated almost exclusively by attractive young women. It all begins when young pill-popper Robert Lawton (Robert Stanley) is advised to take a long rest. Lawton's secretary Rae Lane (Rae Kidd), a dedicated nudist, suggests that her boss shed his inhibitions (and everything else) at her favorite resort. Like many other "nudies" of the era, UNASHAMED would have the more impressionable viewers believe that sun-worshippers were curious creatures who always turned their backs to the camera, and who evidently possessed no genitalia. Fascinating at first, the film bogs down sometime during Reel Three, and it is up to comedy-relief ventriloquist Ross Lynn to keep the audience awake.
