 Forced into an arranged marriage, Tonio, Prince of Bothalia, has tired of his sheltered, royal life. He longs to see the world and live like other men. After meeting a wandering artist, he is encouraged to leave his old life behind and start anew. He sails to the Barbary Coast where he meets Fluffy, a cabaret singer, and is thrown in jail defending her honor. Soon romance blossoms and Tonio's new life seems wonderful until agents from Bothalia track him down in order to force him to return.
